摘要
We investigated the adverse and favorable effects of staurosporine (ST) and oxytocin (OT) on the development of early mouse embryos by means of an immunohistochemical staining, and obtained the following results. (1) PKC translocation reflecting its activation in the embryo was inhibited by ST and restored by OT. Intercellular adhesion and nuclear migration occurred in the stage of two cells. (2) The embryo stopped developing at the stage of two cells by ST. However, OT started the ceased two-cell-embryo developing again. Thus, OT may restore the development of embryo impaired by various environmental factors such as the in-vitro manipulation in the ART.
