摘要
Severe respiratory allergies are a major public health problem. Almost non-existent in the 1980s, severe forms are developing alarmingly today. Too often underestimated and assimilated to benign pathologies, they nevertheless have major repercussions from a social and economic point of view. With increasing exposure of the population to environmental pollutants, this issue is all the more pressing and it requires the implementation of a national action plan. After the creation of the allergy academic specialty in 2017, it is now time to structure the offer, from primary care to tertiary care. The White paper drafted by the French Federation of Allergology and supported by the French Federation of Pneumology aims to generate a global awareness, both from public authorities and health professionals and from the general public, a disease too often trivialized or even unrecognized. Defending the access of severe respiratory allergic patients to the best care is everyone's duty.
