摘要
We demonstrate a novel focused ion beam (FIB) based technique for the production of substrate-supported, free-standing, perfectly ordered nanowire arrays with control over the pore geometry, pitch, diameter, and length. A FIB may be used to influence the site of pore formation in ultra-thin (<1 μm) oxide nanoporous templates adhered to substrates. Electrodeposition through the template results in the production of nanowire arrays with controlled, perfect ordering. © 2009 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA.
