摘要：

Fur viele altere Menschen (>= 60 Jahre) bedeutet Altern nicht nur ein erhohtes Risiko fur einen Horverlust, sondern auch ein erhohtes Depressionsrisiko. In den letzten 40 Jahren wurde in vielen Studien der Zusammenhang von Horverlust und Depression an alteren Personen untersucht; einige Studien bestatigen einen solchen Zusammenhang, andere wiederum nicht.
