An Empirical Research on the Influencing Factors of Executives' Compensation in Listed Companies in Zhejiang Province

摘要
In this paper, the influencing factors on executives' compensation in listed companies in Zhejiang province are studied from the perspective of company performance and company scale based on the data from 2006 - 2011 listed companies. According to descriptive statistic, Pearson correlation analysis and regression analysis, executives compensation is positively relate to a firm's scale and performance, state-owned stocks, scale of the board, the proportion of the independent directors, the industry of the company, age and education of managers. While the proportion of executives shareholding is negatively related to the executives' payment. The ownership concentration is not relevant with the executives' compensation.
