摘要：
The geoarchaeological prospection of alpine deposits of silica stones in the Kleinwalser Valley brought forth the remains of Stone Age mining of radiolarian rocks on the slopes of the so-called "Feuersteinmahder" (Gemsteltal). There were several extraction places which can be identified as places of opencast mining. Furthermore, a large number of artefacts was found in the waste which definitely proves mining activities in the Stone Age.
