摘要：

The paper is focused on the evaluation of selected aspects of education in OECD countries. Increased attention is devoted to analyze of education aspects in Slovakia. In the paper a number of basic indicators published in the publication Education at a Glance 2011: OECD Indicators were analyzed. From the results of the analysis can be identify several trends of education in the OECD countries in the broader social and economic contexts.
