Multitemporal analysis of AMSR-E data: A large scale monitoring of earth's surface parameters

摘要
In this paper a multitemporal alaysis of AMSR-E data collected on five areas selected in a variety of climatic regions of the world and with different surface features has been performed. Relationships between microwave emission and some land parameters which affect the hydrological cycle on land, namely soil moisture, vegetation biomass, and snow depth, have been established through appropriate combinations of brightness temperatures measured in different frequency and polarization channels.
