摘要：
Brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) enhances motor neuron survival and neurite outgrowth, as well as the synthesis of cholinergic markers. The expression level of BDNF receptors increases in the spinal cords of ALS patients. Here, we show that the systemic administration of BDNF activated signal-transduction pathways in spinal cord motor neurons. These results provide a rationale for treating ALS with BDNF.
