摘要
This paper presents an approach to decrease the problem of misrepresentation and miscommunication in collaborative engineering by using a framework: 1) for capturing knowledge about users, their preferences and the problems they tackle; and 2) for adapting the presentation of relevant information to those users. Based on the functional observations from this framework, a methodology, a model and a system called ANGELO were built. ANGELO achieves user modeling by proactively observing user interactions with distinct project information. Finally, it then uses this model to adapt the presentation of relevant information according to its interpretation of the user's interests.
