摘要
Different fractions of APMP affected notably properties of the pulp and handsheet. Various fractions were gotten by classifying poplar APMP pulp with 28, 48, 100 and 200 mesh screens in this study, and their amounts and fiber morphology were determined. Their impact on handsheet properties was mainly investigated by means of absence of the fractions. The results indicated that APMP fiber length distribution shows a more dispersion, in particular, the content of the small fibers is significantly higher than that of the fine chemical pulp; in the APMP component of the screening, the long fiber fraction of the fibers are more hard, and there is no obvious swelling phenomenon in the refining process, but some fibers are torn, cut and ground, and part of the outer cell wall rupture and loss, the fragmentation of fibers is serious; screening out any APMP component will make paper density, tensile index and tearing index decreased. Screening out R28 and R28-48 components will increase the opacity of paper sheet; while screening out the rest components, it will reduce the opacity of paper sheet. Refining of APMP can improve paper properties, such as the density, tensile index and tearing index, but the opacity down.
