摘要
Frequent forest fire badly threatened the safety of forest industry and forest ecosystem, forest fire management system is an effective way to mitigating the hazard of forest fire disaster. It is able to give forest fire disaster predicting; it is also an emergency decision-support system. This paper assesses the blue print, methodology and main functions of a forest fire management system based on GIS technology. In addition, this paper quest for the effective way to integrate the forest fires predicting model, the fire emergency decision-support model and the forest loss calculation model based on the instance of fire management system.
