摘要：
BackgroundIntramuscular injection is a common route parenteral used in primates. MethodsA cynomolgus macaque was evaluated for acute lameness and atrophy of the left leg with no evidence of trauma. ResultsHistory revealed ketamine injection 12 days prior. ConclusionsHistologic examination supported traumatic injection neuropathy due to intramuscular injection.
