摘要
The paper presents large lateral displacements tests of a single pile model driven into dense sand and centrifuged at 25 g with different slenderness ratios, The displacement level reached is much greater than this defined by the current design methods for the limit equilibrium of soil around the pile. The model is instrumented by strain gauges for the measurement of the bending moment. The load-Transfer P-Y curves are built and a comparison has been made between the experimental behaviour and that predicted by theoretical approaches.
