THE LOGIC OF MORAL LIFE AND PHILOSOPHY AS A TASK

In this article, I propose an interpretation of Principe elementaire d'une logique de la vie morale in the sense of philosophy as a task. The text resumes a passage from the conclusion of L'Action (1893) and deals with the relationship between action logic and reflexive logic, to identify, in the first, the source of the whole order of thinking. For a thought that is limited to abstract logic the understanding of being will always be contradictory. because one cannot admit the diverse, the non-being, because, as the Eleatic tradition had affirmed, "the non- being cannot be known". But the recognition of antifasis (non-being) as an inadequate symbol of steresis (deprivation) causes the issue to resize completely, which resolves historically misplaced issues and which, as they are presented, always lead to skepticism, if not to nihilism.
