摘要
To enhance the thermal conductivity of polymer composites, few-layered boron nitride nanosheets (BNNSs), produced by bath-sonicating BN powders in isopropyl alcohol (IPA), were embedded as nanofillers in polymeric nanofiber webs through electrospinning. The as-prepared BNNSs and their polymeric composites were characterized using various analytical tools. The alcoholytic reaction between the IPA molecules and BN surfaces resulted in substantial exfoliation of the BN powders and the formation of the crystalline few-layered BNNSs. The thermal conductivity of the polymeric composite having BNNSs was 2-fold higher than that of the pristine one.
