In this document we will try to delve into the subject of education in the twelfth century, emphasizing mainly the influence that the philosopher Pedro Abelard has had on the teaching model that prevailed at that time and how a teaching tradition has been broken where Lectio DIvina was privileged to transform in into Quaestio, Disputatio and Inventio, this being an educational revolution that, in effect, has generated an educational revolution, although it has led to the condemnation of perpetual silence for the philosopher Abelard. This did not imply that his students did not have preserved a good part of his writings and that, today, we still remember the teachings that this historical figure has given us.
