To the Editor: With regard to the article by Bergwerk et al. (Oct. 14 issue)(1): I would like to suggest a sex subgroup analysis to test a hypothesis. One of the key questions regarding Covid-19 vaccines is whether they reduce viral shedding equally in men and women. According to Bergwerk et al., although no significant differences were noted between male and female health care workers according to their profession, the majority of infected workers were women (64%).
