Zn-TCPP(M) enhance the photocatalytic performance of metal-organic framework

摘要
Photosensitizers are highly desirable due to their many applications. Photosensitizers play an important role in photocatalysis. However, conventional photosensitizers are not conducive to recycling. The proximity of the photosensitizing dye to the corresponding carrier is important in dye sensitization and in enhancing photocatalytic performance; however, most photosensitizers exhibit weak interactions with carriers. The transition of the photosensitizer from the molecule to the crystalline state enhances the stability of the photocatalyst and improves photocatalytic performance. In this study, MOF (metal-organic framework) @Zn-TCPP(M) hybrids were synthesized. The H2 yield of NM@Zn-T(Cu)-3 was 620.56 mu mol g-1 (4 h), which was 10.64 times and 3.80 times greater than Zn-TCPP(Cu) and NH2-MIL-125, respectively. The results revealed that the modification of the MOF with Zn-TCPP(M) altered the charge -transfer capability, and thus improved photocatalytic activity. This study reports a novel strategy to enhance the photocatalytic performance of Metal -Organic Framework using ZnTCPP(M).
