摘要
Installation of wind turbine generators(WTGs) in power systems have been promoted recently. WTGs are generally installed in remote areas such as mountain villages and off shore areas. Controls for power system stabilization are required for WTGs due to their high penetration level. For such controls, a frequency control using kinetic energy of rotor of doubly fed induction generator(DFIG) based WTGs and a voltage control for a DFIG based wind farm considering current limit of stator and rotor of DFIGs and power limitation on grid side converter(GSC) were proposed[1][2]. In this paper, to stabilize voltage in rural area, a voltage control considering current limitation of the stator and the GSC of the DFIG is proposed for DFIG-based WTGs. The effect of the proposed control was evaluated by transient analysis. The result shows the proposed control are effective for supporting voltage in rural area when voltage drop in main grid occurs.
