In light of the rapidly evolving digital landscape, the necessity of addressing trust, privacy, and security issues has surged to the forefront for individuals, organizations, and governments. It is essential to grasp and implement effective tools, strategies and benchmarks to safeguard personal data, ensure privacy, and bolster security. This underscores the significance of employing efficient methods, approaches, and metrics to tackle these concerns. In light of this, this paper offers an overview of trust, privacy, and security issues specific to various applications, along with a range of techniques and strategies for their resolution. It showcases an array of technologies and approaches that can be harnessed to fortify the protection of sensitive information, bolster confidence in digital networks, and enhance security protocols. In this study, we have conducted a comprehensive analysis of tools designed to enhance security and privacy, along with techniques aimed at safeguarding these vital aspects. We have also explored the metrics employed for evaluating trust, privacy, and security in digital environments. Our research has also delved into the challenges and future directions within this domain, providing a holistic perspective on the evolving landscape of digital trust, privacy, and security. The ultimate objective of this study is to contribute to the formulation of comprehensive strategies that advance trust, privacy, and security in the digital age by examining these core components and sharing our insights for the development of such strategies.
