摘要
Entrepreneurship presents itself in a multifaceted format in the economic conjecture of developed and developing countries as new businesses are created. It also serves as a valve for the development and refinement of governmental public policies that aim to increase entrepreneurial activity. Thus, the objective of this paper is to analyze the impact of entrepreneurship and the quality of life of the population on the economy of developed and developing countries. To achieve this objective a descriptive, documentary and quantitative research was carried out analyzing the countries that make up the Global Entrepreneurship Index (GEI) and Human Development Index (HDI) indexes made available by the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) and The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) reports. The study related through statistical tests of multiple linear regression with panel data the predictor variables HDI and GEI on the response variable GDP Per Capta in the years 2017 to 2019. In the theoretical review, concepts of entrepreneurship and information about the variables of the analysis focused on a development view of the countries analyzed will be addressed. The result of this study indicated that all the independent variables in this model have significant effects on the indicator GDP Per Capta in the years evaluated. The study can contribute to policies to encourage entrepreneurship in the economic development of countries and be a guide for further research in unfavorable scenarios to the economy as in cases of pandemic.
