摘要
The problem teaching is students' independent and proactive participation in solving real problems through the integration of knowing how to be, knowknow, and know how to do. In order to reach competence, learning according to the currency world demands. The objective of this article was to expose the importance of applying problem teaching based on the analysis of didactic references to get quality in medical universities' studies. A bibliographical revision of 30 articles was done. To conclude, for medical formation, there is necessary to adopt a curricular structure that offers knowledge, skills, and attitude under the pedagogy of finding solutions; the most effective to learn is by doing and creating critical thinking that convoys the health professional through his/her life.
