摘要
This article proposes to present some considerations about the institutional actions built to strengthen affirmative actions at the Federal Institute of BahiaIFBA. To this end, a set of proposals implemented by the Systemic Board of Affirmative Actions and Student Affairs-DPAAE, between 2020 and 2022, is highlighted. These benefit from Federal Law 12.711/12 (Law of Quotas) in Federal Institutions by criteria of public school, income and racial and ethnic sub-quotas. In this way, it is expected to contribute to the discussions on the formulation of planning methodologies, monitoring and evaluation of affirmative action policies and student assistance in the sense of expanding the conditions of access, permanence and success for blacks, indigenous peoples, people with disabilities and poor whites who are benefited by the Law of Quotas in educational institutions.
