摘要：
We introduce a class of outer generalized inverses in rings and semigroups, which affords a characterization of Greville's spectral {1,2,3}-inverses of complex matrices. Moreover, it is proved that Drazin's intermediate finiteness and weak finiteness conditions for semigroups are the same notion.
