摘要
The objective of the present work is to study the effect of uniform transverse magnetic field on two immiscible thin liquid film flow over a linear stretching sheet. Applying similarity transformations, the guiding Navier- Stokes equations have been transformed into a system of non-linear partial differential equations, which are numerically solved by the finite difference method. The effects of the governing parameters viz. magnetic field parameter Mn, density ratio m, viscosity ratio n, thickness ratio a and Reynolds number Re1 are analyzed in detail. It is found that the effect of varying Reynolds number is more pronounced on film thinning in presence of uniform transverse magnetic field.
