摘要
A general trend towards increased use of technology in education has led universities to take steps to train their faculty in online teaching. However, most of the times, standard training workshops are offered to faculty across various disciplines without accounting for their different needs and requirements. In the absence of adequate discussion of this issue, there is a lack of understanding of how to design effective online faculty training workshops to address their unique needs. The objective of this paper is to initiate this conversation by analyzing the current state of training workshops. Specifically, we tackle this issue to examine the impact of online training of business faculty on teaching effectiveness and faculty satisfaction.
