摘要
Visual Abstract. Effects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Cash Transfers on Older Persons Living Alone in IndiaOlder persons living alone in poverty may be at risk for mental health and functional impairments. This randomized trial enrolled a generally poor population of persons aged 55 years and older who were living alone in Tamil Nadu, India. Participants received a small unconditional cash transfer, phone-based cognitive behavioral therapy, both, or none. This paper reports the differences in functional impairment, depression, and food insecurity scores.
