摘要
The purpose of this study is to communicate the knowledge, skills and experiences applied in the development of an Educational Model for the Instituto Superior Tecnologico ESCUT. This Model is based on a philosophical perspective that embraces trans disciplinarity and promotes holistic and integral growth. Its creation was based on the use of conceptual mapping and organizational philosophy, following fundamental axes such as: pedagogy, didactics, curriculum, evaluation, technology, educational quality and integration with essential functions. The theoretical support of the Educational Model comes from constructivist pedagogy and didactics, as well as from active methodologies and the use of technology, indispensable tools for the development of specific and transversal competencies required in the world of work. Educational models define the essence and identity of Higher Education Institutions, guiding the teaching and learning processes with the objective of training profes-sionals capable of satisfying the needs and demands of the current context. In addition, these models regulate the essential functions of teaching, research and outreach, thus guaranteeing sustainable development.
