Alarm criteria for the non-traumatological resuscitation room-first résumé after the introduction of the V2iSiOn criteria in Münster

Alarm criteria for resuscitation room notification existed until recently exclusively for trauma patients. For a long time, these were mainly based on injury patterns and accident mechanisms. Vital signs played only a subordinate role. The recently published white paper "non-traumatological resuscitation room" lists for the first time symptom-based indicators for resuscitation room care of non-traumatological critically ill patients. Both the white paper and the latest version of the S3 guideline "Polytrauma/Serious Injury Treatment" recommend resuscitation room care based on various pathological vital signs. The alternative "V(2)iSiOn" alert criteria are based on a minimal set of objectifiable and at the same time highly relevant vital signs for the identification of non-traumatological patients with indication for resuscitation room care. This review article presents similarities and differences between the various trauma and non-trauma alarm criteria systems. In addition, an initial appraisal is made after the introduction of the V(2)iSiOn alarm criteria in the city of Munster.
