Religious education and philosophy of dagogik? religion

The article explores the question of what potential can be discovered for the formation of students and the work in RE if philosophy of religion is increa-singly used as a theological reference discipline in religious education. Where religious education initiates and shapes educational learning processes, philo-sophy of religion can become an interesting interlocutor: For critical inspira-tions and readings of religious traditions in their current social significance, as a seismograph for relevant questions and, last but not least, as a touchstone for questioning one's own theological concepts of knowledge for their proba-tion in a post-secular public.
