Te4+doped Cs2ZrCl6 perovskite for optical temperature sensing at low temperature

摘要
Exploring new optical thermometric materials is of great significance for realizing high-precision temperature detection. This work reports a novel Te4+ doped Cs2ZrCl6 microcrystal with high sensitivity for temperature sensing at low temperature. Experiments demonstrate that the temperature-dependent emission behaviors of the Cs2ZrCl6 host and the Te4+ luminescent center are significantly different, which enables the design of a novel fluorescence intensity ratio thermometry. The maximum absolute and relative temperature sensitivity can reach as high as 0.7378 K-1 and 1.966% K-1 at 85 K, respectively. We believe that this work will provide a new path for advances in non-contact optical thermometry materials.
