摘要
This article is related to intercultural reading behavior and proposal in municipal multicultural educational realities. The objective is to argue that reading behavior in an intercultural context promotes comprehensive knowledge, equality, and appreciation for diverse cultural expressions. To achieve our aim, we conducted a critical documentary review using content analysis methodology. This technique helped us to understand the message conveyed by a text by first identifying keywords themes that best represent or summarize it. Afterward, we registered how these keywords or themes are portrayed in the analyzed texts. The research indicates that by encouraging students to use both oral and written language, we can promote reading habits and help develop critical readers who respect other cultures. This is referred to as intercultural reading.
