General Patton once said, "An army is like spaghetti. You can't push a piece of spaghetti, you got to pull it." Deficits in directional leadership do exist in most practices. Most of the following issues are evidence of weak leadership. With full medical curriculums, veterinarians are generally not exposed to leadership training as part of their medical education.
