摘要
Advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) have attracted increased attention in the abatement of refractory organic pollutants from wastewater due to its high reactivity and oxidative capability. Catalytic membrane-coupled oxidation process exhibits excellent wastewater treatment efficiency in the filtration process through an integrated system, largely improving the utilization of oxidants. This article reviews the recent research processes on an important category of catalytic membranes (i.e., the catalytic membranes based on transition metal catalysts) used for the activation of oxidants including persulfate, hydrogen peroxide and ozone. In addition, the catalytic membrane substrates, active components in different oxidation systems, and the enhanced mechanism of the nanoconfined effect on oxidants activation in catalytic membrane-coupled AOPs are also summarized. Finally, the perspectives on the enhancement oxidation activation by transition metal-based catalytic membrane and their practical application in wastewater treatment are also proposed.
