摘要
Marangoni effect is significant in many actual engineering processes, such as drying of semiconductor wafers, growth of crystals, chemical polishing process, and microgravity aerospace. Consider this development; the study investigates Dufour/Soret effects on boundary layer flow heat and mass transfer over a rotating disk due to Marangoni driving force. The governing fluid system of rotating disk is established, and reduces to ordinary differential equations system by constructing a suitable Von K ' arm ' an's transformation. The simplified governing equations are solved numerically by the multiple-shooting method coupled with Runge-Kutta-based approach. The profiles concerning velocity, temperature, and concentration, which connected with variations of Marangoni number, angular velocity, and heat source number, are obtained and explored. Two cases of Dufour/Soret double effects, called as non-interaction-effect and coupling-effect, are taken into account. It shows that angular rotating motion, Marangoni driving force, and heat source have quite appreciable impacts on fluid flow heat and mass transfer of boundary layer, and Dufour number tends to slow down the drop in temperature and Soret number tends to slow down the drop in concentration. Moreover, all selected temperature derivative curves and all selected concentration derivate curves intersect at one point for the case of no-interaction-effect in Dufour/Soret double effects.
