摘要：
Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is the most common sleep-related breathing disorder. The primary care provider (PCP) is in a prime position to identify sleep-related disorders during routine appointments. The steps provided in this article may alert the PCP when to have a high suspicion of sleep-related breathing disorders and help to understand which sleep study to order, what to include in a positive airway pressure order, and when referral to a pulmonary/sleep specialist is warranted. This article also provides documen-tation guidelines for follow-up and troubleshooting tips. & COPY; 2023 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
