Television fiction has increased on recent decades, however, despite the increasingly number of studies around it, its openings have not attracted the attention that credit title sequences have. The main aim of present work is to do a qualitative approach focused on the origin and evolution of this particles which form the television fiction's architecture, and they have been developed in the shadow of its counterpart in film industry. For that purpose, it is used a methodology based on a bibliographic review through different author's dispersed contributions. As a result, a chronologic evolution timeline it has been built to understand current strategies on television series opening's design.
