摘要
As the emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic, in 2020, Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) began to take quick measures so that they could remain active. In this new scenario, professors had to learn new tools to teach their subjects online, and students had to adapt to this new way of learning. Within this reality, the methodology adopted in this study was bibliographical research, whose objective was to identify the main advantages and disadvantages of faceto-face, remote and hybrid teaching modalities, besides the field research, which aimed to analyze the perception of 61 students of a Brazilian HEI on the main advantages and disadvantages of these three modalities. As a result, it is observed that many disadvantages presented in face-to-face teaching correspond exactly to the positive aspects of remote teaching, such as, for example, in remote teaching there is flexibility of time and time and recording of classes, which does not occur in face-to-face teaching. In addition, blended learning, which combines the benefits of face-to-face and remote learning, can be considered a new modality to be adopted in the future. It is hoped that this study can contribute to solutions to the disadvantages presented in each of the three teaching modalities, aiming to improve the entire teaching-learning process.
