Exact solution and case studies for composite I-beam with corrugated steel web

摘要
This work proposed an exact analytical solution for the bending behavior of composite I-beam with corrugated steel web (CSW), considering the anisotropy of CSW, the bending contribution of CSW, the transverse shear deformation and the interface slip. In the analytical model, the CSW is equivalent to anisotropic flat web. The mechanical property of each part is described based on the two-dimensional orthotropic elasticity theory, and the stresses and displacements of the composite I-beam are rearranged into an eigenvalue equation. The analytical solution is efficiently determined by using the propagator matrix method. The comparison analysis indicates the present solution is more accurate than the isotropic solution and the solution based on the EulerBernoulli beam theory. In the end, case studies of geometric parameters in CSW and interfacial shear stiffness on the bending behavior of the composite I-beam is investigated.
