摘要
There are over 3.8 million breast cancer survivors in the United States, and this number is projected to increase by over 30% over the next decade due to advances in cancer screening and improvements in cancer therapeutics.1,2 Cancer survivorship by definition starts immediately after a cancer diagnosis; the inclusivity of this term emphasizes the importance of supporting patients throughout the cancer continuum.3 Cancer survivorship care consists of managing symptoms and side effects related to cancer and cancer-directed therapy as well as surveilling for recurrences and new primary cancers. Ideally, cancer survivorship care supports the overall health and wellness of a This guide discuss evidence-based recommendations regarding several aspects of cancer survivorship, focusing on long-term issues: management of lingering physical symptoms after completion of cancer-directed therapies, support for the emotional toll exacted by a cancer diagnosis and cancer therapies, monitoring and optimization
