摘要:
MR imaging and US have essential and comple-mentary roles in the imaging evaluation of painful hip arthroplasty. MR imaging with metal artifact reduction techniques, including 3D multispectral sequences, is the most accurate imaging test to evaluate for periprosthetic bone and soft tissue complications. US can evaluate the periprosthetic soft tissues without the interference of metal arti-fact, permits dynamic evaluation, and is used to guide diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
