In silico Assessment of Biological Activity and Ozonolytic Synthesis of Platanic Acid and Its Derived N-Acylhydrazones

摘要
An efficient low-temperature (-70 degrees C) ozonolytic synthesis of a natural platanic acid from betulinic acid was proposed. The synthesized platanic acid was reacted with monocarboxylic acid hydrazides to obtain a series of novel C-20-acylhydrazones. The online version of the OCHEM expert system was used for in silico assessment of the cytotoxic activity, acute oral toxicity in mice, and hematotoxicity of betulinic and platanic acids and N-acylhydrazones containing a lupane fragment.
