摘要
TiO2 and Fe-doped TiO(2)nanopowders with (4 and 8wt.% of Fe doping) are synthesized by using the sol-gel technique starting from powder precursor. The optical properties of the prepared samples are investigated in the wavelength range of 200-800 nm.The refractive indices and extinction coefficients are calculated from the reflectance data using the Kramers-Kronigrelation. 4wt.% Fe doped sample has minimum refractive index value in comparison to others. The variation in refractive index value is studied using a single oscillator Wemple and Di Domenico model fitting and the optical parameters like oscillator energy, dispersion energy, and carrier concentration are evaluated and their variations are studied with doping concentration.
