摘要
Additively manufactured syntactic foam composites are widely employed in weight-sensitive and damagetolerance applications. Polyethylene terephthalate glycol (PETG) filaments with cenosphere (i.e., 0, 10, 20, 30, and 40 wt%) were used for 3D printing, and further physical and mechanical properties of the 3D printed samples are investigated. Results revealed that samples with 40 % cenosphere exhibited higher values for tensile strength (25 +/- 1.25 MPa), and flexural strength (32.14 +/- 1.61 MPa). These results would be productive for guiding future design for syntactic foams based on specific properties.
