摘要：
A short scientific-methodological review of theoretical studies and approaches created in the field of nonlinear optics of ultimately short pulses in the period from 1970s up to now is presented. Important peculiarities making the nonlinear optics of ultimately short pulses different from the nonlinear optics of quasi-monochromatic signals are underscored.
