The effect of rural e-commerce development on return migration intentions: evidence from the China migrants dynamic survey

摘要：
Based on the China Migrants Dynamic Survey (2017), this paper empirically tested the impact of rural e-commerce development on the return intentions of migrants. We find that rural e-commerce development promotes the return intentions of migrants. Especially in the eastern region, cross-provincial mobility, and unemployed migrants have a more significant impact. Our findings provide valuable insights into the rural-urban migration flow and rural development.
