A facile and direct approach for chromium-catalyzed terminal alkynes arylation and hydroarylation was developed. This method provides a useful route for preparation of diaryl unsaturated compounds from readily available terminal alkynes and arylmagnesium bromide in moderate yields under mild conditions.(c) 2023 Elsevier Ltd.
