The rapid economic growth leads to the serious destruction of ecological environment and the large-scale depletion of resources. Industry 4.0 can survive if the resources are preserved and utilized optimally. In view of the contradiction between resources, environment, and economic development, the resource environment economy coupling model is designed by using the set theory for the growth of industry 4.0. The industries are generating carbon emissions due to their day-to-day operations and in order to make the environment more sustainable, some innovative solutions are required which can assist industries for growth by providing sustainable solutions. This study examines the interaction of resources, the environment, and the economy in an innovative method to keep the balance and to provide sustainable solutions. It determines the coupling connection among the participating factors using set theory and designs a coupling model of resources, the environment, and the economy for industrial 4.0 growth using set theory. According to the results of empirical analysis, it is observed that the economic level changes from lagging development to leading development. The resource utilization rate remains low, the overall level of environmental comprehensive development grows and economy keeps on improving. The impact of resource environment economies on coupling and coordinated development in various regions is also determined by regional circumstances. The proposed model gives an innovative solution for sustainable development of the industries as depicted in the results of this paper.
