摘要：

This paper analyzes Radiana (2003), a novel written by Esther Cross, as a rewriting of Frankenstein. From a psychoanalytic approach and using the aesthetical ideology of Surrealism, it examines the links between 19th century fantastic literature and modern fantastic literature of the twenties studying narrative strategies capable of opening new senses and functions inside this genre.
